A Message from Mark Williams
Hi everyone,
I hope you’re enjoying your summer – it’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through! It’s been so nice to see the library buzzing again with activity as more people visit our branches and attend in-person programming.
We are officially one month into our Summer Reading Club for children and teens. From 25th June to 20th August, log your summer reading hours through the Beanstack app and enter into draws for great prizes, all while beating the ‘summer slide’.  If you haven’t already, I would encourage you to sign up at the link below. In step with our Summer Reading Club, we have partnered with Milton Transit to offer the Read and Ride programme, where children and teens aged 16 and under can ride Milton Transit for free with their MPL card and Summer Reading Club validation sticker. Learn more below.

Be sure to check out our exciting August programming for all ages below and continue to Be Inspired by MPL all summer long.

Take care,

Mark Williams, Chief Librarian
